Sponsor & Donation Form

The Whitesboro Riding Club, Inc. (WRC) is a nonprofit organization 501(c)3 public charity. The WRC was organized for the purpose of promoting the sport of Rodeo among young Americans and improving the image of Rodeo through participation, education, supportive efforts, youth contests, parades, and community relations. As a family oriented volunteer organization, we strive to produce events that the entire family can enjoy.

Yearly events include:

Annual 4th of July Rodeo:

Accounts for 80% of WRC's fundraising efforts. Our Annual rodeo averages 1250 spectators and 300+ contestants with families and friends attending. We have even earned a spot among the "Top 5 Rodeos in the UPRA." Our rodeo is part of the Cowboy Christmas Performance Bonus Run that only takes play over the 4th of July weekend. Our Rodeo Events include Bull Riding, Bareback, Saddle Bronc, Team Roping, Calf Roping, Steer Dogging, Ladies Breakaway, and Ranch Bronc with extra family events like Kids Calf Scramble, Women's Steer Scramble, and Youth Barrel Racing.

Royalty Competition:

Young ladies compete for the titles of Miss Whitesboro Riding Club Rodeo Queen, Princess and Buckaroo/Buckarette. This competition encourages contestants to promote the sport of rodeo at public events with a positive approach and teaches the value of horsemanship along with friendship. Each contestant gains lifelong skills that include public speaking, interviewing, and social skills. Contestants ride each night at the Rodeo and interact with the crowd, providing giveaways. All titled Royalty spend a year representing WRC at local Rodeos, parades, festivals, and present awards at all WRC events.

Play day events:

As a nonprofit, we organize events for our youth and community to participate in at a low cost, like playdays. All of the proceeds are used to provide year end awards to nominated participants. Events are designed to develop youth horsemanship and create a family friendly environment. All events are produced by volunteers.

Other events:

WRC also promotes horsemanship clinics, trail rides and course competitions, 4h events, and barrel races.
